Malshi or Zuchon?
When you mix a purebred Shih Tzu and Maltese, you get a designer dog named a Mal-Shi.
When you mix a purebred Shih Tzu and a Bischon, a wonderful little designer breed called a Zuchon is created.
In all cases the Mal-shi or the Zuchon Designer pups are always the first generation from the two purebreds.
This is Molly
The Zuchon (or Shichon) is a small cross breed known for being affectionate, friendly, gentle, intelligent, lively, loving, playful, and social. The most common colors for Zuchons are apricot, black, cream, gray, red, silver, and white. To keep it healthy, it will need to get exercise regularly. The Zuchon commonly participates in agility.
The Mal-Shi is a small cross breed known for being affectionate, alert, independent, intelligent, loving, out-going, playful, quiet, and social. The most common colors for Mal-Shis are black, brown, gray, white, and yellow. To keep it healthy, it will need to get exercise regularly. The Mal-Shi commonly participates in agility.
Either way, the adorable little teddy bears are a joy to have around.
Molly is the mama of our puppies, Molly is a pure-bred Shih-Tzu, and the dads is a pure-bred Maltese, and a pure bred bischon. The Pups are healthy, active, happy and very well socialized with our family in our home.
